We Will Rock You

This summer went screaming by can you believe next week is September? The last week of August is always a ramp up to the ‘back to school’ mentality that hits us all. So let me ask you what are you going to do to kick things up a notch?

My husband Reg and I went to the Queen musical “Will Will Rock You” in Toronto this past weekend. It was a great show filled with humor, wit and talented artists. Whenever I attend an artistic event it always inspires me. The performance aspect for me allows me to see what it looks like when an artist is in the ‘flow’ and to give all they have got with their gifts and talents.

It struck me that I want to live the rest of my days giving the most I have got to give in all areas of my life. Mediocrity is not where it is at. As a leader, as a manager and as a person what is it that you can do to ‘rock the world’ of those you spend time with?

What could you say or do that would ‘rock’ those around you to feel good about themselves when they are in your presence?

I asked myself these questions while watching this fantastic team effort of a show and now I am asking you.
